The North Shore People Network invites you to an evening of information and networking.

Who: Parents, educators, professionals and community members with interest in the special educational needs of students in the early childhood, elementary, middle and high schools of the North Shore and beyond

What:  Please join the discussion as Dr. Jeffrey
Krukar, licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist practicing with children and families in the North Shore and Oconomowoc areas, offers an overview of the Collaborative Problem-Solving approach to reducing challenging behavior. CPS is an evidence-based approach for reducing challenging behavior in children and youth through the teaching of critical thinking skills associated with flexibility, frustration tolerance and problem-solving. This relationship based model of care is a constructive alternative to traditional behavioral approaches as it gives parents, professionals and the individuals with behavioral and developmental differences the tools to work though the issues that lead to challenging behavior, solve ongoing real-life social problems, and learn important thinking and problem solving that can be used in
the future.

RSVP: To Terri Hart-Ellis at hartellis@sbcglobal.net by Monday, November 12th.  Your RSVP is encouraged to ensure we have adequate seating and materials.  If you forget to RSVP or miss the RSVP date, don’t let that stop you from attending!
