The following story was provided by AOLJobs.com By Claire Gordon What is the perfect place to work? An office where every employee gets an annual 10 percent raise? And nobody ever gets fired? And the CEO knows everyone's name? And there are free massages and volleyball courts and barrels of candy apples? None of the above. Rob Goffee of London Business School and Gareth Jones of IE Business School have spent three years asking hundreds of executives this exact question. Six qualities stood out, they found, which they revealed in this month's Harvard Business Review. The store will close on May 26, but another retailer is expected to be announced in the next couple weeks.
Eddie Bauer will close its store at Bayshore Town Center by May 26, which means its customers will have to drive to the Mayfair Mall location. Bayshore Town Center manager David Moss said another retailer is already expected to fill its space, and he expects to announce that new store in the next couple weeks. The news of Eddie Bauer's closing comes on the heels of Express opening in the space formerly occupied by Coldwater Creek. Icing By Claire's, a jewelery and accessories store, also plans to open later this summer in a previously vacant space between Apple and Chico's, Moss said. Express was previously Bayshore's most requested store, and Moss said its arrival is part of the mall's larger efforts to meet the constantly-evolving retail…
