A blessed passover to you Lyle and as always the Jews persecuted around the world are in my prayers Read Moreand thoughts.

No Joe you are attempting to get more signatures on your petition to the governor. SolicitingRead Morepetiti oners from outside your state is unethical.
Joseph M. Jason April 09, 2014 at 03:35 PM
I have gotten signatures all over the world.

Which looks even more stupid when presented. Out of state pandering will hurt your cause.

Stop picking on Democrats. They're the salt of the earth who occasionally make a few minorRead Moremistakes because they're so caught up in the exuberance of fighting for the little guys (and gals).

That makes more sense - thank you for clarifying. I'm sorry Cody, I didn't understand yourRead Moreresponse and I think my response sounded rude now that I realize your point. It would be about as worthwhile to have a bumper sticker that reads "I stop for red lights!"

Excuse me, "Hunting should be outlawed" The poll no longer shows as it was posted underRead MorePa tch's old software in 2012. Not sure that including the extreme positions on a poll is really the editor taking that particular Read Morestance on the issue.

Prior to seeing the post the topic - and her response to it - I emailed her, asking how she came to Read Morebe back on staff. Haven't heard anything back yet. Won't be surprised if I don't. I'd like to know who approached who on it, I guess. As I'm not sure I understand how Hale is deciding where they're going to have editors (part time or otherwise) and where they aren't. I would think ad revenue for Waukesha/Brookfield isn't all that different than other areas in WI, but maybe it is...

You Hillary fans better start peppering the DNC to let them know you're not gonna let her be kicked Read Moreto the curb a second time. I've heard a couple separate segments on NPR the past few weeks questioning if she's too old, if her term at the State Dept. hurt her, if the legacy of Slick Willy would work to her disadvantage, etc. If they've got their mouthpiece in the press out floating those subjects, they're not 100% sold on her as their go-to in 2016...

I realize this incident is pretty much old news at this point, but it still continues to give off a Read Morevery fishy aroma. I wasn't aware, until my wife read this article in the dead tree version of the paper, that we had diverted the efforts of 40 (yes, 40) detectives from our homicide division for 10 days in order to crack this caper. ::::::: http://www.jsonline.com/news/crime/police-tapped-homicide-detectives-to-find-stradivarius-b99203640z1-245090531.html ::: For all those Milwaukee residents who think the outlying areas don't understand, don't care to address and are unwilling to devote the resources to Milwaukee's urban crime issues, you may wish to question why your own mayor and police chief decided to essentially step away from any ongoing investigations and allow them to grow colder by 10 days in order to address this very, VERY first world problem. Who's pulling the strings on this one (pun intended)?
® Cody Walker February 17, 2014 at 02:35 PM
Only in Tom Barrett's Milwaukee, urban crime is too hard to solve, best to try and look like a hero Read Morein the international news.

Until the black community recognizes this, and calls for action, white guys like me will be calledRead Morea racist. And I can sleep at night knowing that, without a baby in the same bed as me. Just me and my black dog. Snuggling together in harmony.

Pretty exciting to see both UW-M and Marquette (men's and women's teams) make it to the NCAARead Moretournam ent this year. Great inspiration for younger players to be able to see high quality college soccer.
