No. 8 — New Bar Brings 'Up North' Feel to North Shore
Camp Bar recently pitched its tent on North Oakland Avenue. On Aug. 29, Patch talked to owner Paul Hackbarth about his new northern Wisconsin cabin-themed bar opening in Shorewood.
His love of a trip "up north" was the inspiration behind the bar.

While it seems to be a popular place, I personally don't think that Camp is at all like the 'Up North'. The music is way too loud. I was hoping for a more quiet place where one can relax and converse with friends or shoot a game of darts--like the places we go to when we are 'Up North'...
