Police: Woman Sexually Assaulted while She Slept
Victim told police she met the man at a class reunion and later was assaulted in a Shorewood apartment complex.
A Shorewood woman says a man sexually assaulted her while she was sleeping in a local apartment complex early on the morning of Nov. 25, according to a report filed with police.
The incident — which occurred at a building in the 3900 block of North Murray Avenue — is an isolated one, police say, as the victim knew the suspect. The two met at a class reunion the night previous.
No arrests have been made, but an investigation is ongoing, police say.
