What Time Will 2012 Election Results Be Announced in Wisconsin?

Poll here close at 8 p.m., but swing states end voting as early as 6 p.m. local time.

Wisconsin voters have until 8 p.m. to cast their Election 2012 ballots, but voting in other key swing states ends as much as three hours before then, and exit polling could provide an early indication of whether President Obama or Mitt Romney wins the White House.

The earliest key state to watch for is Virginia, where polls close at 6 p.m. Wisconsin time.

Voting ends 30 minutes later in swing states Ohio and North Carolina. At 7 p.m. swing states Florida, Pennslvania and New Hampshire close their polls.

The final two swing states, Nevada and Iowa, close at 9 p.m. CST.

I talked 5 college kids into voting this morning. And yes, they voted Republican.

That sucks for them.....capping pell grants yearly for students and not expanding with the current year GDP. A tax plan that will give college students less of a refund to help pay for their books, tuition, oh and healthcare since he wants to repeal that.

Better to let them wade out into the cold, deep waters of the real world than to push them off the end of a pier into an area that's way over their head, Bells. It'll be less of a shock to their systems if they experience life's little inequities bit by bit rather than all at once.

God help those children. I can only assume they were not intelligent enough to comprehend why they should vote Republican. Either that, or just said it to 'agee politely'...

I fear we will not know who won the election for days or weeks.
I hope there is no gloating tomorrow, as the results may change after all is said and done.

Yes, it depends on how close the election is and what the electoral tally may or may not be.

Remember, the exit polls don't often jibe with the results, as happened in Ohio in 2004.

It will take 49 minutes after the polls close to call the races in Wisconsin for ROMNEY/RYAN/THOMPSON - as was the case in this summer's alleged too close to call / down to the wire recall election that in reality ended up being a blowout victory for WALKER/KLEEFISCH!!!

Let's see a repeat of this on MSDNC tonight!!!

Unfreaking real, no pound signs or copy pastia

Misty, I watch MSDNC enough and it is for education besides entertainment. I have to see what the next round of lying liberal talking points will be. And my conclusion is they can't even think of these talking points looking at who they hire. It's more from the blogs and since they have about 5 viewers I don't blame them for trying to plug in as many fancy sounding words with no substance.

To whom it may concern: I think it should be obvious, but for those who haven't noticed, the above person is not me. Since the loons are out in force today, please check the profile when in doubt.

Nothing could be more perfectly symbolic of the GOP ticket than Paul Ryan cutting in front of a line of work-a-day people to cast his vote.

Maybe next time then. We don't have "a free public health care". As for the second part, that's debatable.
