Two Men Robbed of Their Wallets Early Sunday Morning

Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with the robbery, but no charges have been filed yet.

Two 18-year-old men from Whitefish Bay were robbed by five males early Sunday morning in the 5000 block of Marlborough Drive.

One of the robbery victims called the police shortly after the incident at 12:42 a.m. Sunday. He told police the robbers, who were approximately 16 years old, forcibly stole two wallets and an iPhone then fled the scene in a beige Dodge Stratus. The vehicle, which was later determined to be stolen, was gone by the time police arrived.

  • Related: Just over two weeks ago, two Whitefish Bay women were robbed in broad daylight in Whitefish Bay. A 29-year-old woman was robbed of her grocery bags, and nearly two hours later, a 66-year-old woman was robbed of her purse. Three Milwaukee males – ages 16, 17 and 18 – have been charged in the robberies.

After the robbery in Whitefish Bay Sunday, the Milwaukee Police Department later apprehended three juveniles and linked the suspects to the robbery in Whitefish Bay. The two stolen wallets were apparently tossed from the vehicle and were recovered in Whitefish Bay. Police returned the wallets to the two Whitefish Bay men.

The suspects have not yet been charged by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

Don't worry, the cops are all over it. There probably won't be anymore of these incidents in Whitefish Bay for at least a week or 2.

No one is afraid to pull off anything here, anymore. Go ahead, run traffic lights and ignore pedestrians too. Most likely, nothing will happen.

Oh, that would be insensitive to describe them. Better to refer to them as "actors" or "Milwaukee males."

The names Leon and Marcus give you a pretty good clue as to who the little punks are. Can you see them holding up their pants while running away?
