Here's a look at what's coming up this week in Shorewood. If we're missing something, please add it to the calendar.
School Board — Officials could approve an energy efficiency contract with Honeywell/ESG designed to reduce energy consumption and operational costs in the district. The hire of new director of curriculum and teacher is also on the docket. Find the agenda here.
The meeting starts at 7 in the Shorewood High School Library, 1701 E. Capitol Dr.
Tour of historic churches — Each building has an unique architectural style; each congregation has a rich history.
The Shorewood Historic Society is hosting a free tour of the village's churches, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. A shuttle bus will provide transportation between locations, which will start at North Shore Presbyterian, 4048 N. Bartlett Ave.
The tour will include Kingo Lutheran Church, 1225 E. Olive St.; North Shore Presbyterian Church; Luther Memorial Chapel, 3833 N. Maryland Ave.; St. Robert Catholic Church, 2214 E. Capitol Dr.

'I Love Shorewood' public auction — Bid on your favorite heart from Shorewood's public art campaign at a public auction Sunday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hubbard Park Lodge, 3565 N. Morris Blvd.
All proceeds from the sale of the hearts will benefit the Shorewood Foundation, a local charitable, non-profit organization. Additionally, bid on a heart prior to the auction at shorewoodtoday.com.
Village meetings — The Shorewood Foundation will meet 4:30 p.m., the Parks Commission at 5:30 p.m., and the Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Committee at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Library Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday and the Design Review Board at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
And, the village's Community Development Authority will meet 7:30 Friday morning.
All meetings are held at Village Hall, 3930 N. Murray Ave. Find agendas on the village's website.
Preps sports — Messwood will try to improve to 4-0 on the season when they travel to Hope Christian for a Midwest Classic Conference match on Thursday. The match starts at 7 p.m.
The boys soccer team has an away game and the boys volleyball team a home game on Monday both starting at 6:30 p.m. and both against Wauwatosa West.
The girls tennis team will host a game against Cudahy and the girls volleyball team against Saint Francis on Tuesday. The games start at 4 and 6:30 p.m., respectively.
The girls swim team hosts a meet at 6 p.m. and the boys soccer and volleyball teams have home games starting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the girls tennis team will travel to South Milwaukee and the girls volleyball team will play an away match at Whitnall.
