Shorewood Snapshot: MLK Day; Village and School Meetings

Here's a look at what's coming up this week in Shorewood. If we're missing something, please add it to the calendar.

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a national day of service. If you're looking for ways to give back or celebrate his legacy, click here

School Board — School officials will consider the retirement request of Dean of Students and Athletic Director Bill Haury at a regular board meeting Tuesday night at 7.

Other agenda items include discussion of recommendations for next year's budget and the hiring of a new district communications coordinator. Find the full agenda here

The meeting will be held in the Shorewood High School Library, 1701 E. Capitol Dr.

Village Board — Trustees will discuss a possible sewer rate increase among other agenda items during a regular meeting 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Find the full agenda here

The meeting will be held at Village Hall, 3930 N. Murray Ave.

Preps sports — Shorewood High School will host a boys diving meet 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Both the boys and girls basketball teams have games against New Berlin West Friday night at 7:30. The boys will host their match at Shorewood High School while the girls will travel.
