Shorewood’s Business Improvement District is pulling out all the stops to create a stress-free, relaxing shopping experience with its “Stop, Shop and Restore” event.

On Saturday, trolleys will fill Shorewood's business district, offering free rides from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. courtesy of the , and holiday music from Shorewood Players carolers, orchestra students, and a brass quartet, sponsored by Shorewood PNC Bank, will create a festive atmosphere.

In addition to making the shopping a bit easier this holiday season, more than 40 local businesses are offering discounts, deals and free hot tea, cocoa and snacks.

Local practice at 4465 N. Oakland Ave. will help you relieve that holiday stress with free acupuncture, chair massages and microdermabrasion demonstrations.

In addition , 3514 N. Oakland Ave., Alliant Physical Therapy, 3840 N. Oakland Ave., and the , 2107 E. Capitol Dr., are offering free yoga lessons and tea samples.

The pet can even get a massage at Shorewood’s , from 10 to 11 a.m., when La Bonne Vie Animal Massage offers free classes teaching techniques to pamper your pet.
