School Board Candidate Drops Out of Race

Gregg Davis told School Board members Tuesday he won't actively campaign and instead serve the district via its curriculum committee.

Though the ballot won’t read so, three incumbents running to retain their seats in the spring race for Shorewood School Board will essentially do so uncontested.

Gregg Davis, 1901 E. Lake Bluff Blvd., one of four people who filed papers to run for three opens seats, told School Board members during Tuesday night's regular meeting he won’t actively campaign.

Instead, Davis will serve the district via its curriculum committee.

Davis has never run for School Board in Shorewood, but has served on boards in the Chicago area.

Incumbents Paru Shah, 4259 N. Larkin Ave.; Board President Rob Reinhoffer, 4432 N. Wildwood Ave.; and Board Vice President Colin Plese, 2113 E. Lake Bluff Blvd., have all filed candidacy papers for the April 2 election.

Funny how that works. So the same three union shills will be re-elected? Fun.

Hilarious! Gregg Davis was only a placeholder put up by the Marxists, in the outside chance that there was an interloper, fiscally responsible candidate running.
