It's Beginning to Look A Little Bit Like Christmas

The holiday season is right around the corner and that means many will begin the search for this year's Christmas tree. You won't have to travel far though, with a tree lot opening Nov. 21 in the village.

You won't have to travel this holiday season to find the perfect Christmas tree.

It's the third year Ideal Landscaping and Lawn Care Services owner Rick Dassow will set up shop in the empty lot near North Oakland Avenue and East Edgewood Avenue and sell Christmas trees and holiday décor. A permit to sell the trees was approved Oct. 23 by the village's Plan Commission.

The lot will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting Nov. 21 through Dec. 24, though it will be closed on Thanksgiving.

The lot will also sell wreaths starting at $15, indoor and outdoor garland and other decorations. Tree will start at $20.
