Darling Wants Lena Taylor Removed from Finance Committee

The Republican lawmaker says Taylor's level of disrespect is a concern.

Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) is asking her colleague on the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance, Sen. Lena Taylor, be removed from the committee for her disrespectful comments, FOX6 reports.

"She doesn't feel like she has to respect the voice and the opinions of the chair,” Darling was quoted saying on Charlie Sykes' 620 WTMJ radio show. “She can call people liars. This level of disrespect for the process, disrespect for rules of law and disrespect for the process of doing legislations for the people of Wisconsin is a concern."

In a recent meeting, the two state senators had an exchange, which resulted in Darling leaving the room, according to FOX6.
