It's hard to believe, but a year has already come and gone since Shorewood Patch started bringing you news and information about your community.

It was a slow beginning as we started in the community from the ground up, but overall it has been a great year and with many reasons to celebrate.

We'll be hosting an informal, laid-back party from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Three Lions Pub at 4515 N. Oakland Ave. in downtown Shorewood.

Stop in and share your thoughts about Patch, and have a beer or two with your local editor and other Patch staff. Although the invitation says 7 p.m., the party will likely go a bit later.
