Just months after opening, Shorewood's newest bar is garnering some high accolades, being named one of the best new bars in the country.

Details Magazine, a national monthly online publication, has listed Camp Bar as a top newly-opened establishment in its "local favorites" category.

"Modeled after the owners' lake cabin up north, this homey lodge has a pedigreed-lumberjack aesthetic and serves a mean Wisconsin old-fashioned (brandy muddled with orange and cherry)," the publication reads. 

Also on the "local favorites" list with Camp are bars in Los Angeles, Portland and Brooklyn. 

The northern Wisconsin cabin-themed tavern opened at 4044 N. Oakland Ave., across the street from the new LightHorse 4041 development, in November.
