5 Cars Stolen over Last Month in Shorewood
Police say all of the cars were taken with keys in the car, including two which were left running and unattended.
Shorewood police are asking residents to take precautions to avoid becoming a victim in the wake of five cars being stolen since Sept. 20.
Most recently, a 2008 Infinity was taken from a driveway in the 3500 block of North Lake Drive Tuesday night. That theft occurred sometime between 5:45 and 7 p.m.
Police say all of the cars were taken with keys in the cars, including two, which were left running and unattended.
Never leave keys inside your car or leave it running and unattended, police advise.
